From 2022 - 2024 Corin  presented her Lux Aeterna Live AV performance featuring music from her 2023 album ‘Lux Aeterna’ (UIQ) with accompanying visuals by video artist/director Tristan Jalleh.

Lux Aeterna [translation ‘Eternal Light’ in latin] is a speculative fiction named after a choral work by Gyorgy Ligeti that appears in 2001:Space Odyssey - Ileto is inspired by Ligeti's use of micropolyphony, a compositional tool in which harmonies slowly merge into one another over time, creating amorphous alien-like textures that bend and mutate. Sounds imagined as sentient beings - each sonic element taking on a life of its own. Industrial textures become embodied creatures swimming through space, like sentinels.

These themes are reflected in the visual world created by Tristan Jalleh. Apparitions of android machinations. Swirling sentinels. Debris suspended in space, momentarily forming then collapsing again into an abyss. The eternal light that already encompasses us brings us closer to the heavens.

The live AV show toured across Europe and Asia including a highlight performance on the mainstage at Berlin Atonal in 2023.

DIWA LIVE AV
2025 - PRESENT



Continuing her ongoing collaboration with VFX artist Tristan Jalleh, the audiovisual show for DIWA is inspired by various Filipino creation mythologies, including ancestral beliefs about the ‘skyworld’ and craters and caves as the portals to the underworld. Corin takes inspiration from her matrilineal ancestry connected to the volcanic crater lake Taal ’. The audience moves through different stages of volcano formation, immersive underwater landscapes and lightning eruptions. A collision of earth, lava and water, and a submerging of supernatural and geological forces spanning the granular to the colossal reveals biomorphic shapes and lava sculptures of mythological creatures such as the mysterious ‘Bakunawa’ dragon moon-eater. Whereas Lux Aeterna (CORIN’s previous AV show) elevated us to the heavens, DIWA submerges us deep into the underworld.

RESONANCE
2026 - ongoing




In 2025, Corin was selected by Forecast Platform (Berlin) to create a long form electro-acoustic performance on the kulintang with live digital processing under the mentorship of renowned Iranian electronic producer Sote. The mentorship concluded with the premiere of the work at CTM Festival (2026) at Haus de Visionnaire.


The kulintang is a Filipino gong chime instrument with precolonial roots performed in the southern Philippines. The project is entitled ‘Resonance’ - alluding to the metallic resonance of the gongs, and how resonance is transformed through time and space. Corin is interested in the idea of resonance as residual memory - how ancestral memory is retained, and how it transforms over time.


The performance incorporates improvisations performed live on the kulintang that are digitally processed live. Corin is drawn to granular synthesis as a form of resampling as it allows the resonance of the gongs to be drawn out over a longer period of time. What emerges is a sonic palette blurring natural and altered versions of the sound, acoustic and synthesised sound.  At Haus de Visionnaire , Corin spatalised the performance mix with the d&b audiotechnik 36 speaker system adding further dimension to the composition.


“CORIN’s Resonance created an epicenter of synchronized tenderness. In her experiment with non-Western sound heritage….she proposed tuning into the cracks of tradition and contemporaneity by soliciting ways of accompanying an environment where sounds could emerge or disintegrate. The performance unfolded amid the lingering waves of internationalization in the art world, as artistic forms circulate across borders threatened by populist motivations. The audience formed a tight circle around the stage, where CORIN conducted the amplification, desynchronization, and synthesis of the tones, melodies, and timbres of elements she has been (un)learning for many years. One by one, visitors pulled themselves away from the center. A swarm disbanded, dispersing like pollen in the air. They searched for the frequencies falling from the 36-channel speaker installed from the ceiling.”
